Eli Harris - Cinematographer/Director

With a degree in film from the Montana State University and a background in backcountry guiding and recreation, I have traveled internationally as a remote wildlife Cinematographer/Field Producer. Pursuing stories of conservation and the collision of natural and modern worlds, I have had the opportunity to work for clients such as: Netflix, BBC, Nat Geo, HBO PBS Nature, Smithsonian, Curiosity Stream, History Chanel, Discovery, Animal Planet, and more.

Industry Skill Set:

  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certified

  • Large and Small Gimbal Operator Technician - (Shotover, Movi- freefly, Ronin) - Over three years of in the field experience operating, teching, and troubleshooting various gimbal systems. From land to sea, I have worked with mounting and operating from large and small watercraft, trucks, cars, helicopters etc.

  • RED Camera Systems - 5+ years of hands on experience with a majority of the available RED models. This covers everything from shooting, mounting, troubleshooting, jerry rigging, and more.

  • Camera Trap/Remote Camera - Over 5 years of working with a variety of camera traps and trail cameras.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud - Over 8 years of editing experience through Adobe Platforms

  • Remote Location and Travel - Well versed in international travel with large amounts of gear. My background in hunting, fishing, and backcountry adventure makes me an asset when dealing with heavy equipment and rough terrain.

  • Backcountry Experience and Guiding - Over 15 years of experience navigating backcountry mountain ranges, rivers, and lakes. 6+ years as a fishing/river guide.
